Competition Overview

The Equine Category at the Pioneer Valley Show showcases the region’s exceptional horsemanship and the strong bond between riders and their horses. Visitors can enjoy a full program of events, including show hacks, stock horse classes, dressage, and show jumping, each highlighting the skill, discipline, and versatility of both horse and rider. With talented young competitors and experienced equestrians sharing the arena, the equine section offers an engaging blend of tradition, sport, and community spirit. It’s a must-see feature of the show for horse enthusiasts and families alike.

ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN FOR 2026

Forms to be submitted on the day or as stipulated in the schedule.

  • Horse events will commence at 8:30am on Show Day

  • Saturday Showjump Events – From $10 per horse / per event

  • Stabling: A limited number of stables are available. They will be charged out at $10 (covered) or $5 (open) per stable per night. There will also be a compulsory cleaning fee of $20 per stable, refundable upon inspection.

  • Chief Ring Steward: Leanne McDowall
