Camping

A TOUCH OF NATURE

Get away from it all

Tucked in the heart of the lush Pioneer Valley, camping at the Pioneer Valley Show Grounds (Finch Hatton) is a down-to-earth, scenic escape with a welcoming country feel. The site caters to caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, rooftop tents — plus there are powered and unpowered areas.

You’ll find essential comforts like hot showers, toilets, town-supplied drinking water, and a friendly on-site caretaker. For a touch of nature, there’s a freshwater creek nearby — perfect for a relaxing dip.

Pets are welcome (with permission from the caretaker), making it a great spot for a family getaway.

One thing to note: when the annual Pioneer Valley Show is on, the camping area closes. Also, visitors are generally limited to 48-hour stays, so it’s ideal for a restful stopover rather than a long-term base.

All in all, camping here offers a peaceful, rustic retreat — a perfect launchpad to explore the Pioneer Valley and nearby natural wonders like Eungella National Park.
