Showground Facilities
The Pioneer Valley Showgrounds offer well-maintained facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all visitors. With accessible amenities, food and refreshment areas, seating, and clearly marked event spaces, the grounds are designed to cater to families, exhibitors, and competitors alike. Our facilities help create a welcoming and safe environment for everyone attending the show.
EFTPOS & ATM’S
It is encouraged that you bring cash with you on show day as ATM’s are not available and are not readily accessible in the township.
EFTPOS is available from:
> The Show Office within the Show Hall at the window nearest the Centre Ring.
TOILETS
Toilets are available at the following locations:
> Show Hall – front of the Show Hall nearest Eungella Road
> Show Hall – rear of the Show Hall nearest the bar
> Bar – orange toilet block located opposite the bar
> Kids Area – portable toilet block located opposite the Kids Area on the Pioneer River side of the Ring
> Sugar Cane – portable toilet block located near the Sugar Cane.
PARENT ROOM & BABY CHANGE FACILITIES
Parent Room and Baby Change Facilities are available in the front of the Show Hall near the stage.
WATER
Free water refill stations are available:
> At the bar
> Mackay Regional Council Water Refill Station available in the Kids Entertainment area
DISABLED PARKING
Disabled Parking is available inside the Sugar Cane Gate in People’s Street at the far end of the Showgrounds. Please proceed to purchase your tickets at the Sugar Cane Gate prior to proceeding to the Disabled Parking Bays located along the Pioneer River nearest the Sugar Cane.
